I don't know if I would go that far, but, I'm not going to stop you either! Still got the KO2's, can't get rid of them because everyone knows they're junk, but you seem to fanboy real hard so if you drank the koolaid and think they're the best you're welcome to come buy them $250 full set half tread all yours.ĭon't be brand loyal, the KO2's are a solid miss. The KO2's were my 3rd set, and the set I wheeled the most with, after my Coopers now that is then my OG KO's would be the next most miles on. I've had five different sets of tires on this truck and I had three different sets on my last, I've tried many different brands patterns sizes and types so I think I've got a good enough sample size to formulate a solid opinion. I don't think there's any need to prove my personal experience and opinion especially not to someone who's obviously super loyal to a brand for no reason, I mean I can understand wanting to defend your purchase but bruh, you're like borderline attacking me here over my opinion. What evidence do you have to prove that there's not something better? Have you ever run another tire other than the stock ones and the KO2s? Maybe you need to check why that offends you so.ĭo you guys just not know what an opinion is?īruh, do you really want to get into a pissing contest on the internet about opinions on tires? I didn't make fun of them because everyone had them, I said one of the reasons I decided I didn't like them was because everyone started to have them, but that was secondary to their performance, quantified, a personal opinion, I got them for their expected performance which they did not meet and that's why my opinions of them changed. I'm not saying anyone has to agree with me I'm just sharing my honest feedback experience and opinions.Īpparently it's a crime round here to not go with the herd. And I personally did not like the look of the ko2s after a while, why is that a problem? I've done a great number of mods just because I liked the look of them. Yes modding trucks for fun is half about the looks, if you guys actually read my comments, I've already stated that. I wish I was half as cool as you seem to think I am, by the way you dropped this: "/S". I like the ST Maxx, and may try them out next, but will be expecting alignment issues due to their crazy asymmetrical tread that pushes the truck to one side.Īnyways……interested to hear more about this new BFG offering. Those musta been designed by a engineering co-op student or something. A Jack of all trades and master of none, other than maybe being the best option on gravel roads.Īnd they don’t pull to the right due to tread design errors like the Cooper ST Maxx. No good in the winter, mediocre in mud, but true to their name “all terrian”. They are shitty in the winter, and shitty in mud, so I run snow tires in winter and use lots of throttle in the mud holes. They chip minimally, and resist sidewall punctures when aired down. I’ve gone to the Arctic Ocean and back, driven shale roads, rough trials, gravel miles for days, and endless highway miles, on k02s. Lastly I don't see how my personal experience can be an untrue claim. Maybe I missed the memo when we switched over to an echo chamber where everybody has to like the same thing and have the exact same experience because everyone operates under the same conditions? When I had my ko2s, they were pretty much brand new and not many people had run them, I decided to give them a try and be a guinea pig because I liked my original KO so much, and I never said hating on them was one of my grievances, if you actually read my post I think my legitimate grievances were well detailed there, I ran them for approx 30k miles. I thought we were just having a discussion like the whole point of a forum to share opinions and experiences and give ideas and have fun.Īnd I'm not "HaTiNg On ThE KaY-bRo-TwO" because it's cool I had a bad experience and I was sharing that experience. You don't have to agree, but you also don't have to be a dick about it, yet here we are. I have my opinion, and I'm entitled to that.
